New West Pest Control began in the summer of 1992, when Steve Pasquale decided to build something of his own. After years at a local company that had just been bought out by a national chain, Steve hit the road to figure out his next move and came back with a name his friends and family helped him choose, and a commitment to doing pest control the honest way.
He started out serving Napa County, and it wasn’t long before his old customers tracked him down to bring him back. Steve grew the business slowly and carefully, the way you build something meant to last.
His son Matt joined part-time in 2000 and full-time soon after, turning New West into a true father-and-son operation. Cash came aboard in 2014, Staci joined the office in 2017, and when Steve retired in 2021, Matt and Staci took the reins and carried forward everything he built.
Today, New West is a second-generation, family-run company serving Sonoma, Napa, and Marin Counties. We’re proud to be small... it means the same trusted technician shows up at your door year after year, your concerns are handled by people who actually know you, and you’re treated like a neighbor, not an account number.
